Our story starts in Mexico, when I was just a child. My grandmother once told me that when the food is too salty, the Chef might be in love, if the food is too spicy, then the Chef is probably angry.
Ruiseñor will tell a story with each dish it serves. You will understand the inspiration, the combinations, and maybe the Chef was in love. It could never be too salty!
We want you to feel the emotion that inspired the creation of every dish. Therefore, you will be surprised with a menu especially selected, where all the emotions will be conveyed. A traditional à la carte menu can only describe the facts and we want to tell a story.
Once served you will know everything about our dish, and please tell us if there is anything you cannot eat; and we will of course accommodate!

The concept of Mexican Emotional Cuisine embraces the art of storytelling and emotions as an integral part of the creative process. Positive as well as negative emotions are transformed into delicate and delightful flavours which are presented in the form of a surprise menu. Every menu has its own unique story that will be told with each dish served.
For a night out at ruisenor you will need at least 2.5 hrs. The menu starts with an amuse followed by 7 courses excluding dessert for the price of 62,50 euros. During the weekdays and on Sunday there is also the option for a 4 course menu including dessert for the price of 48,50 euros. Concerning allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know, preferably in advance, and it will be taken into account.
Our ingredients are seasonal, therefore the menu will be changed every 3 to 4 months.
